The NEC Birmingham is situated 8 miles east of Birmingham city centre, at the hub of the UK motorway network. Visitors from any direction can travel to the NEC directly using the M1, M5, M6, M6 Toll, M40 and M42.
A full restriction is in place on part of the M42 Junction 6 roundabout at Bickenhill due to a road closure. Please allow extra travel time and follow local diversion signs.
Please follow the clearly signposted directions to the NEC car park. Have your printed badge ready to show at the barrier on entry and exit.

For the smoothest visit, pre-book your parking using promo code ATMN26VIS at parking.thenec.co.uk/NECBirminghamBooking. You can do this any time up until midnight on the day before your visit.
Once you've pre-booked, the barrier will recognise your number plate automatically and let you in and out without any other steps.
Forgot to pre-book? That's fine. You can drive straight in and validate your parking at the Pay on Foot machines inside the NEC. Alternatively, have your visitor badge ready to scan on your way out and the barrier will open.
Blue Badge visitor parking and shuttles from all car parks to the main exhibition hall are also available.

Birmingham Airport is a short walk from the NEC via the free Air-Rail Link. Over 150 destinations, zero fuss.
Birmingham Airport connects to over 150 destinations and sits right next to the NEC. The free Air-Rail Link gets you from the terminal to Birmingham International station in 90 seconds. From there, it's a short walk to the venue.
Airlines serving Birmingham include KLM, Lufthansa, Ryanair, Jet2, easyJet, Aer Lingus and TUI. Regional connections run from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Belfast and Dublin.
You can be on the show floor within 20 minutes of landing.

Services arrive at Birmingham Coach Station, from where you can connect to the NEC by local bus or train.
From Birmingham city centre, trains from New Street to Birmingham International take 10 minutes, with the NEC a short walk from the platform. The X1 bus also runs directly to the NEC and takes around 40 minutes.
