Spring Fair and Autumn Fair are backing a Parliamentary petition calling for 90 minutes of free parking in town and city centres across England.
Our Voices of Retail research found that 38% of retailers say free parking would have the biggest positive impact on their business, while 63% of consumers say it would encourage them to visit town centres more often.
High streets are at the heart of our communities. They are where people shop, meet, eat, discover new businesses and spend time together.
But if getting into town is difficult, expensive or stressful, people have less reason to visit - so offering 90 minutes of free parking is a necessary step towards making high streets easier and more accessible places to visit.
