Exciting new additions to the range include a raucous Rocky Horror party game, to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the iconic show, some innovative new games featuring the preschool favourites, Mog and The Very Hungry Caterpillar, as well as some great new family games including Art Gallery and Faeries & Magical Creatures.
Following the acquisition of The Learning Journey International, a leading learning products company, University Games will showcase a Learning Journey range of over 40 lines at Spring Fair. The range, with many lines available for spring/summer, include award-winning educational games and puzzles, sensory, active-play, electronic and construction toys. This range of proven, interactive educational toys, offers plenty of fun combined with valuable learning for inquisitive young minds.
Relive the brilliance of The Rocky Horror Show with the new party board game, available this February! It’s time to take a jump to the left and take on your favourite character from the show, to sing the songs, quote the famous one-liners and lyrics, laugh with charades and dance the Time Warp’s famous moves, to build Rocky in the Lab and be the first player to escape the castle!
Great new lines joining the family portfolio include the Art Gallery Game, a competition for the most famous paintings in the world! Players take on the role of a tour guide studying the paintings and choosing the best route through the galleries using strategy and skill to collect the most valuable paintings for their collections. The latest release in the renowned Forbidden Games collection, Faeries & Magical Creatures, is sure to sprinkle some magic on games night too! Players can dive into a magical world to gather resources, build homes and be the first mortal to enter the faerie realm!
Following a successful 2023 launch, Lagoon will be releasing some exciting additions to their established Project Genius range. 2024 sees 8 new lines added to the range, including two new puzzles in the environmentally friendly Bamboo category. Bumble Jumble a pack-it-in style brain teaser with a stunning bee featured design and a travel Bamboo Mancala. Also in the new 2024 range, there are more True Genius brainteasers featuring a puzzle a day Caesar’s Calendar brainteaser, Message in a Bottle and the Greek Chain and Achor, just to name a few.
Joining University Games’ preschool portfolio is a new board game and card game featuring the beautiful illustrations from Judith Kerr’s best-selling children's classic books, Mog! The new double-the-fun, double-sided Mog and the Big Bad Dog Board Game, has been specifically created for pre-schoolers, and will be available in February alongside the Mog the Forgetful Cat matching card game. There will also be exciting additions to The Very Hungry Caterpillar range, which is celebrating 55 years in 2024! A new Rainbow Picnic board game and Double Sided Floor Puzzle will join the successful range.
Evergreen, best-seller Subbuteo also had on-going success throughout 2023 and 2024 is set to be another big year for Subbuteo with the UEFA Euro 2024 kicking off in June and the Official Subbuteo World Cup taking place in the home of Subbuteo, Tunbridge Wells, in September. For keen Subbuteo players, the launch of the new electronic Scoreboard and Timer will be an useful asset to help keep score of those competitive matches!
Following on from the hugely popular Speedy Words game, 2024 will see the arrival of Speedy Numbers! This four in one game is set to put your mental maths to the test in a fun but educational way!
