Edge Sculpture - Dragon Egg Illumination

This has been a very new adventure for us and as a project it has developed and evolved over many months in order to create a piece that we now feel is ready to reveal as a fully realised production item.

The notion of adding some form of lighting to sculpture is not necessarily a new one but the aim with our new Dragon Egg was to present a piece that once illuminated there becomes another dimension to it, adding to the imagery and story within it. Yet when not lit retains the very same style of finish as the rest of the Edge Sculpture portfolio. So by no means lamp but instead using a light source to subtlety embellish a piece further.

A Dragon as a subject also allows us to experiment with different colours which provides the ability to present a very different look with varying hues.  This is very much a European style of Dragon and with it the many connotations and changing personalities that go with the different colours allow us to have a little fun with the pieces and provide information cards to add another dimension of interest.

Each Dragon Egg Illumination is lit by a 2W LED Day-White low-profile puck light included.

Available with a 3 Pin UK plug (UKCA/CE certificated) or 2 Pin European plug (CE certificated), with a black 2m length of cable and rocker switch.
