YUTNORI is one of the games that often appear in traditional Korean folk paintings. It is one of the games played in the villages, homes, and schools, anywhere where people gather for a long time because of the joy of catching the opponent’s tokens(mal:말).
How to play YUTNORI
- Throw the 4 Yut sticks and move your Mal (mal : horse in Korean token ) according to the number of moves you get. All Mals(말 : token) to come “home" ultimately wins the game.
- Two people or two teams take turns throwing the Yut sticks and moving their Mals(tokens)
- . After throwing the Yut sticks, place your Mal down according to the number moves.
- You can catch the other teaminchs Mal by landing on it and send it back to the starting point. 4. You can also form a group and travel together with your team if you land on their Mal.
