N.Sreedhar, Executive Director, Handloom Export Promotion Council (under Development Commissioner of Handlooms, Ministry of Textiles, Govt of India) is a Textile Technologist with Post Graduation in Business Administration and Post-Graduation in Public Administration having 30+ years of experience in the field of Textiles in Spinning, Weaving and Handloom sectors. He has also held senior position in public sector and large private Textile group and served in the entire range of textile value chain.

During his career, he has organised exhibitions/trade delegation meetings in abroad and travelled to various countries on market research, product development and to enhance the market potential.  He is also organising awareness seminars on textile export to the MSME Textiles manufacturers and Handloom Clusters across the country periodically.

Coordinating with the Indian Mission abroad especially in Europe, U S A, South America, and other Eastern countries to discuss on the ways to promote the export on handloom and hometextile products. Taking active participation in the FTA negotiation meeting with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

Identifying the Heritage and promoting the handloom products to achieve GI certificate under the support of Development Commissioner of Handlooms, Ministry of Textiles, Govt of India.

Holding the position as Executive Director of HEPC (Handloom Export Promotion Council) since Jan 2021.
