Deryane Tadd is the founder of The Dressing Room, an independent womenswear boutique established in May 2005. She is recognized for her discerning eye for emerging designers and forward-thinking trends, curating over 100 brands for both in-store and online collections. The Dressing Room has been named among the top 50 boutiques by The Sunday Telegraph’s Stella magazine, SheerLuxe, and Stylist, and has received multiple industry awards, including being peer-voted as the UK’s No.1 Most Inspiring Independent Fashion Retailer.

Deryane's journey in retail began as a sales assistant in the early 90s, rising through the ranks to become Store Manager and buyer for a new franchise business for French Connection. She then became Operations & Buying Director for the business and opened five franchise stores in the South East over seven years. After selling the business back to the parent company, Deryane decided to start her own business, which led to the birth of The Dressing Room.

The Dressing Room has evolved from a single boutique in St Albans to a thriving brand, blending luxury with a friendly, personal shopping experience. Deryane's approach to leadership and resilience, including rebuilding her business after a cyber-attack, has been a testament to her adaptability and commitment to her vision.
