Unique, Canadian, handwoven knot-tied creations, traditional, sustainable, functional, and crafted to tell a story. From rope doormats and wreaths to trivets, dog toys and more, each piece blends artistry with purpose.
All For Knot works just minutes from the world’s highest tide on the Bay of Fundy, inside an airplane hangar at a First World War training base in Debert, Nova Scotia.
For twelve years, our mission has been to preserve seafaring, knot-tying traditions and keep rope out of landfills. Our pieces honour maritime heritage for those who love décor “FROM THE SEA, FOR EVERY SEASON.”
We create every item with premium rope, traditional finishes, and meticulous craftsmanship.
Our three collections celebrate both history and sustainability.
• Museum Designs - authentic, historical ship knots crafted with natural ship rope and traditional finishes.
• Cast Away Designs - sustainable creations made from reclaimed, retired lobster fishing rope.
• All Seasons Designs - rugged, colorfast traditional knots crafted with authentic lobster fishing float rope for long-lasting, all-weather use, including pet toys and kennel mats.
We also create one-of-a-kind installations for architects and interior designers, including seven rope wall art installations for the Moxy Hotel in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada (2023).
Our work supports ethical buying by aligning with environmental, social, and governance goals. Each handcrafted piece connects people through story, bridging past, present, and future.
• The past: preserving traditional maritime knots and keeping over 8 tons of retired lobster rope out of landfills.
• The present: offering customizable, functional, beautifully crafted pieces ethically made by our diverse team.
• The future: transforming new and retired lobster rope into durable designs, made without metals or glues. From eco-printed tags in-house on unbleached canvas to inclusive hiring and sustainable practices. We create décor that leaves a lasting impression and lines up with customers’ values.
All for Knot is a woman-led, certified diverse supplier creating décor/gifts that meet UN environmental, social and governance goals. We welcome wholesale, corporate and interior design business.
