Sustainable Wrapping Solutions and Why the Future is Fabric
Enough wrapping paper was used at Christmas to cover the world 9 times over. Disturbingly nearly all of this would have been unrecyclable with most wrapping paper containing high amounts of plastic and micro-plastics including glitter. Fabric wrapping solutions based on the ancient Japanese technique of Furoshiki offer a stylish, but more importantly, sustainable solution for gift wrapping, that retailers can use to gift wrap products instore and online, providing a positive and sustainable customer experience. This session led by eco-friendly brand Wrapuccino will outline the benefits of fabric wrapping and outline sustainable wrapping solutions available to retailers. There will also be a Furoshiki demonstration to show how simple and easy it is to fabric wrap gifts!
