HOW TO ENTER
The Competitions will run close on 29th January 2020.
To enter the Competitions entrants must comply with all ‘how to enter’ instructions including providing evidence and commentary regarding their supply chain transparency and rigorous ethical standard.
Any Competition entries received after the Closing Date will be automatically disqualified.
By submitting a Competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The Promoter will not accept: (a) responsibility for Competition entries that are incomplete, lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or (b) proof of transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the Competition.

Entries will be judged by retail and sustainability experts including SEDEX. The winner will be celebrated for their hard work on creating a more sustainable future for all and will receive additional promotion across Spring Fair’s marketing channels.
The decision of the panel of judges (acting reasonably) will be final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
All entrants must be a confirmed exhibitor at Spring Fair 2020.
The Winners will be announced at Spring Fair on Tuesday 4th February, The Inspiring Retail Stage, 4pm.
PERMISSIONS, OWNERSHIP OF COMPETITION ENTRIES AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
All entries submitted must be the sole work of the individual submitting them and must not have been copied, must not contain any third party materials and/or content the entrant does not have permission to use, must not have been published elsewhere and must not otherwise be obscene, defamatory or in breach of any applicable legislation or regulations.
It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure they have secured all relevant permits and/or provided all relevant information prior to submitting the entry. All such permits, copies of information provided and evidence of permissions must be promptly provided to the Promoter upon request.
The entrants must ensure that any images and recordings they submit (a) do not infringe the copyright or other intellectual property right of any third party; and (b) comply fully with any applicable laws.
By entering the Competition entrants warrant that what they are submitting is their own work and they own the copyright in it. If the copyright or other intellectual property right of any third party has been infringed, the relevant entrant will indemnify the Promoter in respect of any third party claims.
Entries that do not fulfil the above criteria will be deemed ineligible and disqualified. Where this is discovered after the prize has been awarded, the prize (together with any expenses paid by the Promoter) must be returned or refunded by the entrant. Entrants agree to fully indemnify the Promoter in respect of any third party claims.
In consideration of entering the Competition, each entrant agrees to grant the Promoter and the relevant Category Partner a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, licence of intellectual property rights in the Competition entry and any accompanying materials (and otherwise arising in connection with the entry to which the entrant may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world) to use photographs of, display and publish the entry and any accompanying materials for any purpose connected with the Competition, such purposes to include without limitation:
(a) the process of judging the Competitions;
(b) display the entry;
(c) publicising and promoting the Competition and future competitions – both in print and digital; and/or
(d) the Promoter’s activities, including within their publications, on their websites and social media channels.
You acknowledge and understand that by entering the Competition, any information and personal data provided by you about you and any information provided by you about individuals as part of the Competition entry will be used by the Promoter, its partners and service providers in order to administer and fulfil the Competition and for the purposes set out in these terms and conditions.
If required by the Promoter, the Entrant agrees to participate in any reasonable publicity required by the Promoter.
If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude the entrant from participating in the Competition.
The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Competition should it become necessary to do so.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
