Penny Rawson is the founder of The Edit, a mini chain based in Cheshire that won a Drapers award for best store design. She started her career with Arcadia winning ‘most inspirational store manager’ in 2007 before going on to work for names such as Selfridges and Debenhams. The first Edit store opened in 2016 and the has now grown to 4 stores and a website. The business provides mums with ‘everyday chic’ pieces that take the stress out of getting dressed. It has been features in The Real Housewives of Cheshire, had a pop up shop in House of Fraser and holds events with names such as Nicky Hambleton-Jones from Chanel 4’s ‘Ten Years Younger’. Most importantly The Edit has managed to grow profitably and debt free in this challenging time on the high street.
