March Muses
March Muses are the UK's leading brand for inclusive Christmas decorations, founded by Croydon mums Alison Burton and Natalie Duvall. Motivated by their daughters’ inability to see themselves reflected in traditional Christmas decorations, the duo set out to transform the festive season into a celebration of diversity.
Their stunning Christmas range features diverse handmade angels and Santa baubles, designed with meticulous attention to detail. From skin tone and hair texture to body shape and size, March Muses’ decorations exude elegance and authenticity, offering a side of Christmas that is both beautiful and rarely seen.
The brand has achieved major milestones, including product listings in prestigious retailers like Selfridges and Liberty London. A pivotal moment came when they secured £50,000 from Peter Jones and Deborah Meaden on BBC’s Dragons’ Den, propelling March Muses to new heights.
In 2023, March Muses expanded beyond Christmas with a groundbreaking 5 year partnership with Tesco, creating a diverse festive range including wrapping paper, hanging dec and cards, while also evolving into a year-round lifestyle brand offering a range of gifting products, mugs, candles, clothing, and water bottles.
Alison and Natalie continue to innovate and grow their offerings, ensuring that everyone can see themselves represented—not just during Christmas, but throughout the year. As Black female leaders, they are breaking barriers behind the scenes, inspiring future generations to see what is possible.
