Kate O'Brien Art
I’m an artist who loves using vibrant colour to create completely unique renditions of cherished architecture and scenery.
After studying Textile Art at university, I began to teach art at secondary school alongside producing my own work. After 10 years in education my own artwork had taken off to the extent that I made the leap from educator to full time artist, and have a studio and shop based in my local market hall.
My artwork has become popular as I have a unique way of combining paint and drawing to create a strong sense of nostalgia for the place or scene I've painted. Customers often comment that my style looks like a dream or memory, or a glimspe of the past. All my images are completely hand drawn with traditional materials, I do not use any digital media.
I offer a bespoke service, in which customers can order artwork depicting an image with personal meaning for them. The service I would like to offer for Spring Fair is for me to create an image, or collection of images for the retailer which focus on the area local to their customers. Once created, I will supply prints in a range of sizes and quantities which retail between £15 to £150. The image I have created will also be exclusively yours, which will be a fantastic selling point.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions. Many thanks!
