    Sustainably Sourced Wood: We reassure our distributors and our customers that we manufacture our products using wood which comes from well-managed forests and sustainable sources. Recycled Plastic Products: Our commitment to sustainability is exemplified by our substantial efforts to incorporate recycled plastic into the construction of our brush backs. These strides underscore our dedication to environmental responsibility and the promotion of a circular economy. We prioritise the reduction of waste and the conservation of resources through the use of recycled materials. Solar Power Energy Generation: As a manufacturing company, we're naturally high energy users, in 2016 we installed a 250kw solar energy system. In 2022 we increased that to 450kw, which now covers over 5,500m2 of roof space. Recycling Partnership: Hillbrush are proud to be in partnership with Perrys Recycling which processes our recyclable materials. For the last 5 years, we have been awarded Perrys 'Certificate of Environmental Achievement'. Since 2016, we have increased the tonnage of materials that we recycle by 84.9%. Facilities: Because our offices have significant lighting needs, LED lighting has given us unique financial and environmental benefits since we installed them. We have electric car (EV) charging points on our site with the aim to have a beneficial impact on our local community. Hillbrush takes pride in its state-of-the-art facility, which has been meticulously constructed to adhere to the latest building codes and is equipped with cutting-edge insulation.
    Pledges for the year
    In the upcoming year, we are committed to enhancing our sustainability initiatives with strategic measures across various aspects of our operations. An integral part of this plan involves the installation of additional solar panels, effectively blanketing the roofs of our offices and manufacturing facilities. This significant expansion aims to bolster the generation of renewable power, further solidifying our dedication to cleaner and greener energy solutions. As part of our ongoing commitment to eco-conscious practices, we are excited to announce the integration of more recycled packaging materials. This includes the introduction of recycled paper tape, a move that aligns with our mission to minimize environmental impact. Simultaneously, we are intensifying our efforts to curtail single-use plastic consumption, contributing to the global initiative to reduce plastic waste. Expanding our commitment to circular economy principles, we are set to augment our product catalogues with an increased array of recycled plastic offerings. This expansion underscores our dedication to sustainable sourcing and manufacturing practices. Additionally, we are proud to announce the introduction of new products within our wooden ranges, meticulously crafted from FSC-approved materials. This step ensures that our customers can continue to rely on our products not only for their functionality but also for their eco-friendly and responsibly sourced attributes.     Long Handled Bath Brush
    Proudly manufactured in the UK, our Long-Handled Soft Bath Brush is a luxurious addition to your bath-time ritual. Made from untreated beechwood and soft horsehair fibres, finished with a cotton loop for hanging up to dry after use.
