The Gift Scholars was founded with the aim of designing and producing quality giftware, textiles and toys for retail stores in the tourism, leisure and sport industries at an affordable price.

  • Sustainability Role in overall company's strategic plans
    At The Gift Scholars Ltd, sustainability is at the core of our strategy, showcasing our strong commitment to being environmentally responsible. Led by Production Manager Laura Ellis, every team member is involved in implementing our policy, which aims to comply with regulations, improve our environmental performance continually, and make sustainability a key part of our business decisions. We actively reduce paper use, prefer to recycle bottles to create our plush, and encourage reuse and recycling. Our energy and water efforts focus on using less and choosing efficient options. In transportation, we minimise travel and opt for electric vehicles. We use eco-friendly cleaning materials and regularly check compliance, while also keeping our team informed through training. Sustainability isn't just a practice for us – it's woven into our culture, driving ongoing improvements and environmental responsibility.
    Sustainability initiatives
    At The Gift Scholars Ltd, our sustainability initiatives are a testament to our commitment to environmental responsibility. Under the guidance of Production Manager Laura Ellis, we've actively implemented a comprehensive set of measures. We've significantly reduced paper usage by minimising its use in the office, opting for recycled and recyclable paper products, and emphasising packaging reduction. Energy and water consumption have been targeted, with a focus on decreasing usage, turning off lights and equipment when not in use, and considering energy efficiency in new product purchases.
