With over 20 years fairtrade experience, working extensively  with craftspeople of India and Nepal, Bazaar brings colourful gifts, clothing, accessories and amazing embroidered textiles. Our regular extended trips to India allow us time to design our own products and clothing and be present during the many sampling and manufacturing processes. Our belief that fair and ethically traded goods should be sustainable through business and our love of traditional techniques and handmade goods leads us to small workshops, many of whom we have worked with for over 20 years. Find new products, our own designs and some old favorites at Bazaar.

  • Sustainability Role in overall company's strategic plans
    A very top role!
    Sustainability initiatives
Many of our products are made from recycled scrap textiles. We make clothing from upcycled saris and from surplus fabrics. Many of our fabrics are dyed using vegetable dyes, with a particular interest in indigo. Our paper products are made from recycled cotton pulp.
    Pledges for the year
Plastic is our worst guilty secret. We are working hard in India to find alternatives. We are making some progress. We hope to reduce all plastic bags from our clothing by 2020.
