Northumberland based jewellery designer and maker Vanessa Priest will be taking QuayStones Jewellery back to the Birmingham Spring Fair in 2024. You will find QuayStones in Hall 2 stand no H53.
Her jewellery is inspired by the sea, coastline and fauna of Northumberland and is manufactured in Berwick-Upon-Tweed from reclaimed metals. All the jewellery has a full hallmark from the Edinburgh Assay Office and is presented in luxury eco-friendly packaging.
2023 was a busy year for the new business, not only did QuayStones exhibit at Spring Fair for the first time, but Vanessa was selected as a finalist in the NAJ Designer of the Year awards and shortlisted for Emerging Designer of the Year at the 2023 Retail Jeweller Awards.
Here is what Vanessa has to say:
2023 was a very exciting year starting off with a very successful launch at Spring Fair and then being shortlisted for 2 national awards. I was also persuaded by one of my new stockists to supply my designs in a gold plated finish. This has proved to be very successful for them, so for 2024 I will be offering the option to order my designs in sterling silver, gold plated silver and 9ct gold.
