2023 has seen Earth Squared, already proudly boasting Fair Trade credentials as members of BAFTS for many years, also gain B-Corp accredited status. The company is immensely proud of this achievement and what it stands for, striving for fair practice in the fashion industry and focusing on reducing environmental impact. Recent improvements include the introduction of Ecogarment bags, these are an entirely biodegradable, compostable, recyclable and marine friendly solution to the problem of plastic packaging, they look like plastic and protect like plastic but with zero end of life problems, a huge win for us and the planet. As well as improved packaging we’re also working hard on making more and more of our fabrics from recycled materials, all our linings are already made from 100% recycled polyester from waste plastic bottles, with more to follow in 2024.
Our gorgeous new Voyage range features two fabulous everyday styles, a versatile backpack with specially designed padded compartment for storing your laptop or ipad, and an everyday cross body messenger bag, the perfect size for daily use. Both of these outstanding designs are available in five stylish colours for Spring. The best thing about these Voyage products is the fact they are produced from 100% recycled nylon and the lining is also 100% recycled, using recycled polyester from waste plastic bottles.
Also brand-new in 2024 is our Weave range of bags, ideal for vacations or staycations, this robust collection of useful everyday styles has been manufactured from fabric that has been produced entirely from ocean plastic waste.
Earth Squared are also supporting a number of Giving Back initiatives in partnership with GetGreenspark – including tree planting and plastic collection.
