Did you know that you can park your car for free at the NEC?

 

The NEC Birmingham is situated 8 miles east of Birmingham city centre, at the hub of the UK motorway network. Visitors from any direction can travel to the NEC directly using the following motorways - M1, M5, M6, M6 Toll, M40 and M42.

 

The NEC is signposted on motorways and major roads and is marked on most good maps. The map address is: The NEC, Birmingham, B40 1NT

 

If you’re travelling by car, we recommend that you allow plenty of time for your journey. Once you arrive, please follow the clearly signposted directions to one of the on-site car parks. 

 

Spring Fair pays for all attendees to receive free car parking for the entire duration of the show. A shuttle service is available from all car parks to the main exhibition halls every day. More information can be found at the venue upon arrival. 

Arrive by train

The nearest train station to the NEC is Birmingham International, a five-minute walk under a covered bridge.

 

You can also travel to Birmingham city’s central station which is Birmingham New Street. Regular trains connect Birmingham New Street to Birmingham International and the journey only takes approximately 10 minutes. 

 

London is only 80 minutes away and trains also run directly from many regional towns and cities.

Arrive by coach & bus

Coach services are operated by National Express and Megabus, with over 120 daily services from across the UK to Birmingham Airport. From Birmingham Airport, you can get to the NEC in minutes on the free air-rail link. 

 

Regular local buses also depart from Birmingham city centre. 

 

The 900 service runs every 15 minutes during the day taking approximately 30 minutes. 

 

The 97 service operates every 30 minutes, 24 hours a day taking approximately 45 minutes.

 

Local bus services also run every 30 mins throughout the day to Solihull (service 966) and Coventry (service 900).

International travel

Arrive by Eurostar

The Eurostar is an effective way to reach London in the United Kingdom when travelling from France, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands or Switzerland. We highly recommend that you book early to secure the best price as fares can sometimes be as low as £29 return from Paris to London. 

Arrive by air

Birmingham International Airport is located within the NEC complex. You can book flights directly to and from Birmingham International from most domestic and international airports. Visit Easy Jet, Ryanair, British Airways to check for flights.

 

To get from Birmingham International Airport to the NEC, simply take the free and fast Air-Rail Link to Birmingham International railway station and then it’s just a short walk to the NEC entrance.

 

The Air-Rail Link runs every 2 minutes and takes just 90 seconds to reach the NEC. It leaves the airport from the upper level of Terminal 1, and operates daily between 05:15am and 02:00am
