| Mysmartpac to hold European launch at Autumn Fair 28 Jul 2008 By Mary Clarke US cosmetics supplier mysmartpac is to hold its European launch at Autumn Fair in September. The company will also unveil gift versions of its disposable travel packs at the show. Mysmartpac contains high-quality essential cosmetics, which last for up to six uses, in lightweight, self-sealing paper packets. The packs are available in his and hers versions and retail at between £10 and £12.50. The male versions of the packs contain anti-oxidant face cleanser, shave gel, post-shave cream, body lotion, hair gel, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrush and triple blade razor. The scent for men is Morning Fresh, which has a citrus and woody smell. The packs for women contain anti-oxidant face cleanser, anti-aging face cream, body lotion, hair gel, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrush and triple blade razor. The scent for women is Violet Kisses, which has a berry blossom and vanilla smell. The mysmartpac gift packs will contain all the essentials in the original pack along with travel socks, a face mask and a dry cloth. These packs will retail at between £40 and £45. In February mysmartpac will return to the UK at Spring Fair to launch a high-end version of the basic packs. These will contain luxury cosmetics and will retail at about £55 or £65. Mysmartpac chief executive and creative director Daniel Ogbonna said: "I used to travel a lot as a consultant, and I never checked my luggage in no matter how many days I was travelling for. So, I figured there must be a better way to carry products without carrying tubes everywhere; especially in Europe where everything is weighed. Mysmartpac is easy to carry around and light enough for carry on, while at the same time retaining the quality of the product." Mysmartpac products are manufactured and packaged in the US. The products are packaged using 70 per cent hard paper and the boxes are made from 30 per cent post industrial plastic. Mysmartpac launched in the US in March at the New York Times Travel Show.
