| Dowman is Plush Toy category partner 10 Aug 2009 by Charlotte CowellCommenting on the new partnership, the head of sales of Dowman, Peter Rowe, said: “After being involved with the NEC fairs for over 15 years we are privileged to be able to strengthen our relationship with EMAP and are very thankful for this wonderful opportunity. 2009 has been somewhat of a challenge, so far, but we believe our partnership with EMAP will enable us to finish the year on a high and give us a good foundation for 2010 “Combined with the tremendous extra presence we now have online and our ongoing physical presence in Hall 5, we feel we have a great opportunity to reach out and penetrate new world markets. We pride ourselves on having the largest range of wild life soft toys in Europe combined with a level of service that is second to none” Dowman offers an extensive range of plush animals, from widely recognised species to the more obscure animals in the world. The company has always tried to raise awareness of the lesser known and sometimes endangered species and has worked with many zoos in designing and supplying particular kinds of animals to support their own conservation programs Dowman produces its plush animals from its own Factory in Shanghai and prides itself on the fact that it has always operated a strict ethical policy, with a firm belief in fairly traded methods. The company offers customers a 24 hour delivery service to the UK and three days to Europe, from its warehousing units in Cambridgeshire. “We are very excited with the recent launch of our ‘Five a Day Friends’ soft toy range,” Peter adds. “Focusing on the natural elements of healthy eating and a wholesome lifestyle, Five a day Friends are able to combine this with positive messages. We feel that 5 a day Friends have universal appeal to children, parents and educators.” Click here for more information on Dowman Soft Touch. |
